Connection & Creativity
The refinement of one's self is demonstrated through relationship and art. The people with whom we connect and the things we make lead directly to the overarching sense of meaning we get from living. Over my years of practice, it's become clearer and clearer that Yoga is nothing if not the technology of connection and creativity. This summer I'm leading a weekend retreat with this as the focus. It will be a penetrating look at the various ways in which the practice invites us to hone our relational and creative capacities. Precedent will be placed on form and function, deliberateness, and aesthetic beauty. The weekend will include vinyasa and restorative yoga, discussion and philosophy, as well as some optional time to practice sitting still.
